Office Outlook 2007 freezes since update

After some microsoft updates last Saturday, my outlook no longer works. It
opens but as soon as I click on email, contacts or calendar it freezes up.
Also if I don't touch anything after opening it will freeze up approximately
20 seconds after opening. I get the "Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped
working" message. I don't know what to do next, does anyone have any ideas?
It would really be appricated. I am currently running Windows Vista home
Premium.
