Office Outlook 2007- wont open

Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of
folders cannot be opened. The fileCocuments/and Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst is not a personal folder file

My first instinct is .pst file corruption, possibly virus or antivirus
software messing it up. Just a guess.
