I have upgraded a machine from Windows 98 to Windows 2000.
I have installed Office 2000 Professional from the
original CD under user: administrator
Then when I create another administrative user, log on as
that, and try to run any of the Office components, Windows
Installer executes and asks for the Office 2000 SR-1 disk!
I've downloaded and ran the Windows Installer clean-up
utility but that doesn't work either.
This is happening on a number of machines anytime we set
up a new Windows user.
