Hi,
I just purchased Office Professional 2007 and installed it as an
upgrade to Office Pro 2003. The 2003 product did not uninstall and when I go
to Add/Remove programs and try to uninstall office 2003 I get the message:
"The Installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the
source exists and that you can use it."
I am running Win XP SP2 and all Office Pro 2007 programs are activated
and working. Also, FYI, when I click on an Office 2003 program [say Word
2003] I get a quick dialog box saying "installing" and then quickly get the
dialog "Microsoft Office Word 11.0, "An error occurred and tis feature is no
longer functioning properly. Please run Setup and Select "Repair..." to
restore this application." When I click OK Word 2003 then starts up just
fine.
I would like to remove all Office 2003 programs from my system [except
Frontpage 2003] and would appreciate any help in how to proceed. If you feel
a call to Microsoft is in order I can do that but I thought I'd try the
discussion group route first.
Thanks.
