Office Pro 2003 upgrade from trial version

I attended an Office System Launch and was given a TRIAL
version to install. I sucessfully installed it and it
works great!
Microsoft graciously sent me a FULL version that I want to
replace the Trial one with.
On the main menu of the FULL version there is an option
to "Convert License from trial to full" however after
selecting that option, the next screen tells me that this
version does not support that option.
Any help here? I shudder at the idea that I must
completely UNINSTALL....
