Office Pro 2007 will not accept Key

I bought a new computer with a trial version of Office 2007. I installe
a full version and entered the product key during installation and th
install went fine. However, anytime I try to open an office program, i
asks for the product key and when I enter it, it gives me an erro
message that it is an incorrect product key

Thats because you needed to uninstall the trial first
Uninstall any/all versions of Office shown in Add/Remove, delete temp files,
reboot
Install from cd

I've done that more than once and I'll try it again, but I suspect I'll
get the same result

If you could uninstall the Office 2007 trial more than once then it doesn't
sound like it was actually uninstalled. How are you 'uninstalling' it?
