Office Product Activtion "reached limit"

A

Not able to activate - error "reached limit." A true statement, HOWEVER,
I've had to reinstall Office several times due to computer crashes - the most
recent a dead motherboard - therefore that PC is completely DEAD. Purchased
a new PC and want to install Office on it. HOW CAN I FIX THIS? I've tried
activating by phone and CANNOT get through to an agent - I keep getting
disconnected.

Unfortunately the phone method for activation is your only recourse at
this point. I'm surprised to hear you keep getting disconnected,
though. I've called them several times and reach a 'live' person very
quickly and am back up and running in a matter of minutes. What is the
phone number you are calling??

Also note if you purchased Office with your now dead computer (came
preinstalled OEM) rather than purchasing a retail version (one you
installed yourself - note this doesn't apply to a trial version which
is installed but you purchase later) then an OEM version of Office is
licensed to the computer it was installed on when you purchased it and
it can not be installed on another computer.
