Office Professional 2003 - "Limit for Product Key"

N

Neil

Hello

Bought Microsoft Office via my employers discounted scheme. Installed it on
my home PC, which a short time after broke due to what I believe to be a hard
disk problem (it has now been binned). I have now attempted to install office
03 on my new PC, only to be told "your installation can not be activated
because you have activated up to your limit for your product". I understand
why I am receiving this message, but I would like to know how to rectify it,
as it's a genuine request !

Many thanks in advance.

If you purchased a Home Use Program license, then it is usually valid
for one activation only. You should contact your employer to get
another key (you might have to pay for it).

The Home Use program is part of Software Assurance purchased by your employer. They would be the ones who have control over how many Home Use licenses they are willing to give to any one employee. However, the limit per the SA agreement is only one per employee.
