Office Professional 2003 to 2007

sonshyne

I have Office Professional 2003 and just purchased Office Professional 2007.
My OS is XP. My question, when I install 2007, will my 2003 diappear? I am
so familar with 2003 and not as familar with 2007. I am a student and need
to manipulate papers and reports. If I were to have a problem will I be able
to access my 2003 office? I am hoping they will both remain on my computer
without conflict ?

You can leave both on your computer with the exception of Outlook. You can
only run one version at a time. Make sure you reall all of the installation
steps so that the new version doesn't overwrite the old version.

Will everything disappear in Outlook 2003 when I install this or will it go
into the 2007 program? Thank you for the help with this.

If you want to run Outlook 2007, then you must uninstall Outlook 2003 first.
Make sure you back up all of your mail, contacts, etc before doing so.

Thank you :)

I've only done that once. Every other time, I'd just start fresh. (Like
getting rid of those size 2 pants that one would never be wear again unless
there's a widespread famine.)

You state that I need to uninstall Outlook 2003 before I can load Office 2007. Being a little non computer friendly, only in this respect, how do I uninstall Outlook 2003. Is this done through ADD / REMOVE in Control Panel and how then can I save my address book and current e-mail from deletion.,

Thank you
