I have a trail Version of Office Professional 2003
evaluation Kit. I had trouble with mirosoft word
processer. it keep saying the program would not open.
Called E Machine and was told to restore at a date before
it quit working. I did. It worked. However now word does
not open. All it does is say paparing to install and
then makes a sound. When I try to unstall it tells me
Patch package could not be opened. What can I do ????

Before I said yes, Wanted to take care of my word
processer problem. That proplem was taken care of, But
now my word program does not.

I do not think it should work. However I can not convert
it to full version or can I remove the program. All it
does is a box comes up that says preparing to install and
nothing happens. The problem when restoring the computer
to a eairler date to fix my orginal proplem (word prosser
will not open) it still has the Trail version but can
not be delated. As it stands, I can have the word
processer work and not be able to convert, remove or open
word, or I can restore to a latter date and the trail
version is gone but can not open word processor. I need
that program to work and then I can buy the Professional
2003 edition.
Please can you help

Have you tried uninstalling through Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs?

remove itself The message says preparing to remove.....
then a message Patch program can not be opened >--
verify that patch package exits. All I want is to remove
so I can use the my old program
