Office Professional 2007 stopped working Access

Microsoft Office Professional 2007 - I cant access my data base, when I
click on a item nothing happens.
When you click on the start button the Microsoft program is still showing
orange as it was new software, could someone give me some suggestions. Thanks

Are you talking about a file, program, or something like a table within the
database?
