office professional edition 2003

I installed office professional edition 2003. No problem. Today Word has
disappeared. Get the following message "This patch could not be opened.
Verify that the patch exists and that you can access it, or contact the
application vendor to verify this is a valid Windows Installer patch
package." Cannot uninstall or reinstall. All I get is the same patch message.

help Menu there should be an entry for Detect and Repair. Click on it
and let the system re-copies all the files automatically from the
MSOCache folder hidden on your HD.
