I have had a number of instances over the past three or four months where the
Listing on Add and Remove Programmes for My Office 2007 Programmes has just
disappeared. If "Show Updates" is selected, the list appears, but with only
a generic icon, and I am unable to select the principal software to change it.
The software still works ok although I do get occasional error messages for
each of the programmes in the Suite.
Re-installing the Software corrects the problem, but only for a day or two.
I have tried to investigate this with the help of Microsoft Technical
Personnel on a live contact basis, but the problem remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions. I am running XP SP3 which is completely
up to date.
