Office programs opening multiple times

Today, my laptop started going insane. Whenever I attempt to open a
Microsoft office program, it opens 25-30 new windows on the same thing. It
takes a while to get it to stop as it keeps opening new windows every time I
try to close the group. I have run my virus scan which is running in the
background and is updated daily. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi Wendi,

It could be related to the Add-ins that Office Small Business Accounting and Office use to 'talk'. If you hold down the ctrl key
while starting Word 2003 (with no other Office apps running) do you get the same problem?
