Office quit working and won't reload

I keep getting this error message:
Error 2908. An internal error has occurred
({CD17AA10-F38F-45C7-B65F-18C7A750AA77})

All my Masters's work, Christmas letter, budget and Power
Point presentations are still shown in the documents, but
none will open.

What should I do?
