Office - Re-Install

Martin

I've done a clean install XP Home on a different drive, and need to
re-install office.

The disk gives me an option of new install, and deleting former
installations, or doing custom install.

Since I want to maintain all my former contacts, files, etc., how can I go
about this?

Re-installing Office won't damage any existing data file already in
place on you machine. Watch Outlook, however, because the Personal Folders
(holding your contacts, distribution lists, etc) won't get wiped by the
uninstall but might get "replace" when you re-install. Locate the *.PST
files and save them just in case you have to restore them, later.
