Office registration question

I have installed and register Microsoft Office XP
Professional.

Now I want to get Microsoft Office Professional 2003, and
sell my Microsoft Office XP Professional.
Is this allowed.
If someone else buys this XP Professional will they be
able to register it in their name.

How do I deregister my Office XP Professional

Also am I allowed to install Office on my laptop.

If it is an OEM copy, you can't transfer Office XP to another person. For
retail ones, you may do so. There is currently no "deregistration" possible,
the only way is to notify the new user to choose the phone activation method
if the internet activation fails and explain this case to the operator.

Yes, you may install Office 2003 Retail copies on your laptop too. (Note
that this is not the case for OEM copies.)
