Office Requirements Authoring Starter Kit

Hi, I have a question about the Office Requirements Authoring Starter Kit
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa537171(office.11).aspx
I need to know whether it is compatible with office 2007, because I can't or
I don't know to use it, and the documentation only refers to office 2003.

When I create a document in Word based on the Requirements Authoring.dot
template provided by this tool, i can't see the Document Actions pane to the
right of the document. I'm using Office 2007.
Anyone know how can I see the pane?

Thanks very much.

I think there might be an option somewhere in Office 2007 to turn on the
documents action pane which is not on by default. Everything in the starter
kit should still work in Office 2007, however, I would suggest leveraging
the latest features of 2007 to implement much of the functionality.
