Office Saving Problems...

When in Excel or Word when I click file | Save As | then drop the box down
with the arror key it can take up to
30 seconds or more for it to display my available hard dirves. This only
happens in MS office programs and able to use Explorer just fine and move
around both my local and network drives. I am on a Win 2k network, TCP/IP,
Domain, plent of hard drive space, SP 4.

Any help appreciated!

I am having the same problems. I have tried to 'Repair' my Office XP Pro - but it hasn't helped

I am running Windows XP - Pro, Norton Internet Security 2004 - Pro

My computer returns to normal and allows me to 'Save As' generally within 2 minutes -- but it seems like an eternity

Anyone have any ideas?

Forgot to check the obvious. Had some bad drive mappings. Disconnect bad
maps and worked ok...opps!
