My vulnerabilities scanner plages me to update an office vulnerability
MS07-036.
PcCillin claims that this is a very high risk vulnerability. I have
searched the whole of microsoft updates and downloads with no result. Can
you help me to find this download?

Hi Steve,

That particular update is from the July (07-) 2007 time frame.
http://microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms07-jul.mspx

If you're using MS Update or MS OfficeUpdate the security updates should be included as part of the regular update process.
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com or
http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate will get you to that site settings page.

Hi Peter.

Thanks for finding it for me I have applied the update . I searched by
entering the update number, I also tried "office security update MS07-036"
all I got was the message "sorry no results available for your search" I
tried for a hour. Obviously you are a smug genius.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the advice. I have automatic updates turned on and I thought
that it should have applied its self. maybe it did and failed to install. I
really did spend
an hour searching for it with no result. Thanks for the link I did, get it
downloaded, but I found the manual method a bit complicated.
