Did office xp get rid of the office shortcut bar?? I have
been looking everywhere for it and cant seem to find it

In Office XP, go to Start->Programs->Microsoft Office->MS
Office Tools->Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar

That should do it for you:)

Office XP doesn't install the OSB by default. You may have to run setup and
install it. It's under "Tools".
