I had this suite installed on a new computer a few months ago.

Every time I now try to open an attachment using picture manager, I get a
purchase prompt saying my trial period for ACCESS has passed (I never even
had it in the first place). It says click close if I do not want to purchase.
It appears every time, So if I receive up to 20 images with an email, not an
unusual number in my business, I have to spend time canceling this option for
every file opened.

IT IS SO ANNOYING. How can it be stopped?

Many thanks

Uninstall the trial version and if you want Office 2007, purchase the suite
you want {Amazon.com usually has good prices}. Before you purchase check
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX101754511033.aspx

for any programs that are a qualifying product for an Office 2007 upgrade
version.

If you do not uninstall or if you uninstall and your computer still tries to
use Picture Manager, in Windows Explorer right click on each of the image
files types you are using and select Open With. Choose the program you want
to use and check the always use box.

In Picture Manager, Tools, File Types you can uncheck the image file types
you do not want to open with Picture Manager. However, I do not know if you
have access to this feature with an expired trial.

Hi Dom

I have already purchased the product. ACCESS was not required but was
installed (I presume by default) for trial period. Obviously another of
Microsoft's high pressure selling methods. The product I purchased is fine
its just this annoying pop up I need to get rid of. Also I do not have an
installation CD as this is no longer supplied. I believe I have to create a
back up and use that. However the same problem will arise.
