Office Small Business Edition 2003 problems

I have a new XP Professional system with Office Small
Business Edition 2003. I'm having big trouble on two
fronts.
First the search does not work at all. I type in a file
and key word that I KNOW is there, but it always says it
can't be found.
The other really annoying thing is that have drawings
brought over from Office 97. When I click on an item to
creatd like a line, a new page automatically comes up.
I've gotten by somewhat by copying and pasting existing
lines, but they don't line up correctly. For example, if
I have a line with an arrow indicating that a signal
enters a product. The arrow either has a gap in it or
goes inside of the box I'm trying to point it at.
HELP!

Concerning the Windows Search problem, its best if you ask that question in
the windows xp public newsgroup. Concerning Office 97 Drawings, you might
want to Tools > Options > Compatibility (tab), and check under options that
are appropriate for displaying content in Word 2003 like it was in Word 97.
