When I tried to install this version on Microsoft Vista (used, on lease,
computer) I get an error message that states I need an earlier version like
1997 in order to be able to install. I had already installed it on the same
computer within the last month. At that time there were no office or other
Microsoft programs such as Word on the computer, and there was no problem
installing it.
The hard drive was just replaced and my version will now not install. I
called Microsoft and they said there is a way to get it install, but I can't
afford to speak to the tech folks and they suggested that you might be able
to help. I have search through various trouble shooting options, but there is
no help there for me.
