office sp3

I have been prompted to download and install Office sp3. When i do this my
outlook prompts me that a program is asking to search my address book and
that this could be a potential virus. Is this part of the sp3 update, if not
how can i update office?

Hi, I am not an expert but I just finished installing SP3 and did not have
any kind of address book search.
