Office Std 2003 to Office Pro 2007

I purchased Office Pro 2007 (full version-not upgrade)
I'm currently running Office 2003(excel,word,Outlk, PPoint)

What can of worms will I run into if I install this newer Office version
which includes more software programs?

Will others with different software versions have trouble opening files from
me?

In Office 2007, you can save documents as older versions of Office instead of
the new XML version in 2007.
