Office still says "(Trial)" after correct activation key entered

I bought a new computer b/c my old one died. I downloaded a trial version of
Office Std. and activated it successfully with my activation key.
Nonetheless, every time I start an Office app, it says "(Trial)" in the
header and asks me to convert again. How can I ensure that the activation
key actually converts this to a full version? Thank you.
