Office Teachers & Students, Multiple Machines

I purchased Office xp for students and teachers ver. 2002
six months ago and installed it on a new laptop. I just
bought a new desktop and noticed that Office teachers &
students program now says it can be installed on up to
three machines -- a notation not on the version I
installed six months ago. Can I install my existing
Office suite on my new desktop or do I have to buy a new
version?
