Office templates

Hi

I need to set up word and powerpoint docs for our office that can be used as
templates.

For example, I want to set a word doc to have a banner logo and contact
details set in a certain position. And then have it so that all users of
this document can not amend or move what i have set but have an area (that i
dictate) that they can type in etc..

Does anyone have any good tutorials or advice on how to this.
