The installation of the office XP updates requires having
the original discs. I am currently traveling and do not
have the discs. When the setup asked for the disks I hit
cancel but now I am unabkle to access Excel application.
How can I have it go back to the previous version I had
installed ?

Hi Luis,

You may not be able to if the Office installation is
now corrupted. The MS Installer that manages
the Office installation expects to always have access to
the original installation media/point. If you use Detect
& Repair from the help menu in an Office app it will usually
also ask for the disks to complete the installation.
