I just got a new pc. I installed Office 2003 from a CD. I then did one round
of updates successfully. I started a second round of updates, they downloaded
successfully, then half way through the installation everything came to a
halt. I tried to cancel the installation and that didn't work so I had to use
"end task." Then I tried to download the second round of updates again and
they failed. I tried to use "detect and repair" and get the message that
another installation is already running. I tried to remove Office from my pc
and start over, but again I get the message that I must complete the first
installation before I can delete it.
