office update installation window is freezing.

I have been trying to update for weeks and continue to get this frozen
window. Can someone please advise how to fix?

quits unexpectedly after you click 'Check for Updates' on the Office Update
Web site". If you still have problems, please write back with what version
of Office you have and what window you're talking about.
