Office Updater trying to update 2003 after 2007 has been installed

Installed Office 2007 in Feb. Had a problem over the weekend and went back
to a previous restore point earlier in the week. Now Updater keeps trying to
install Office 2003 SP2 update. Any ideas on how to turn this off short of
turning off updates, which is not something I want to do?

Perhaps your version of Office2007 did'nt include a component that was part
of your version of Office2003 and as such it still remains on your system,
and requires an update

I guess that's possible, but I've been getting updates all along and didn't
run into the problem until last weekend.

Check the update History, locate the Office2003 update, it may give you a
further clue.
You could also check the MS Office Folder/Office 11 -(The Office 2003
Folder)- and see what it contains
