Office won't open my files

I've just started having this problem. I try to open a word, excel, or power
point file and it tells me the file is unavailable. I have all these files
saved to my computer and I have opened them on a different computer. How do I
get office to open my files again?

Can you open the file if you start the program first then browse for that
file?
