Using a 3rd party web-based software that uses MS WORD Mailmerge will not
sucessfully complete a merge in my environment with SP3. Support for this
software documents in July 2005 that KB898777 corrects the issue in SP1.
MS on-line Help and Support is clear that this hotfix, KB898777 can be
installed on SP1 as it was originally released. Also clearly stated, is this
hotfix received more/better testing and is encouraged for SP2 (over SP1).
My quesiton/concern: Can this same hotfix, KB898777, be installed in SP3?
Should I NOT install it on SP3? Does SP3 include this hotfix?
