Office works only in safe mode but reinstall doesn't solve problem

Sometimes Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook) get corrupted and can
only start in safe mode. I try to uninstall and then reinstall office from
the original disk but the problem is not solved. The only thing I could do to
solve the problem is reformat or restore ghost.

Uninstalling/reinstalling is nearly always a total waste of time and
reformatting is...
