Office X 10.1.4 Update problem

I have Office X for Mac running under Panther installed as OS X
10.3.2, and have just successfully downloaded and installed the update
for Office X 10.1.2.

I note that Office updater 10.1.3 is said to be included in 10.1.4. I
have several times attempted to run this latter updater, but it always
fails, claiming that there is "an error". What, if anything, is going
wrong, please?

Well, you can try repairing the permissions on your drive. It often
helps. What error message did you exactly get ???
