Office XP (2002) Compatible With Vista

Can anyone tell me whether Office XP (2002) runs without any major problems
on Windows Vista? I see that Office XP isn't on the Certified For Windows
Vista or Works With Windows Vista lists.

I have Office XP Professional 2002 and have ordered a new puter w/Vista. I
assume that you have installed XP 2002 and found no difficulties. Please let
me know. I also have Office Small Business 2007 but would like to use the
2002 edition.

Thanks

JoAnn,

Many thanks. I will install Publisher and Access from 2002 then everything
else from my Office 2007 Small Business. Great help from your answer!

Although it's not supported, Office XP should run okay on Vista with one
exception that I know of. Outlook will not retain your password.

I'm trying to install Publisher XP 2002 on my new Laptop with Vista. I get a
message System Administrator will not let me when the wizard begin to
download the Publisher files.

I have successfully loaded Access, Excel, Power Point and Word from my
Office Professional suite, but from my Publisher CD it won't load.

Any help would be great,
Cassa
