Office XP Help Files in Windows Vista

Are there Vista compatible help files for MS Office XP?

I installed my Office XP on Windows Vista, but Vista won't deal with the
*.HLP format. Are there HTML help files for Office XP?

Thanks

Office 2003 and 2007 are the only fully supported Office versions for Vista. Office XP has been out of mainstream support for almost a year and I doubt they will do anything about help files.

Hi Robert,

Cam you be more specific on the problem you're having with the Office XP help files? For the most part these were .chm rather than
..hlp file format. What steps are you using and is there an error message or ???

The specific problem arises in the "Options | Save" dialog box. I click on
the "?" in the upper right corner and then place the question mark cursor
over a potential check box item, and then Vista displays, "Why can't I get
Help from this program?".

You're right, if I go to Help from the top menu items, "Help" works, but it
is near impossible sometimes to find the help on these option dialog boxes.
