office xp -office 2003

I have office xp installed and I want to upgrade to 2003. Can I install over
OXP or do I have to uninstall OXP? I have my contacts and calendar loaded
with appointments and do not wish to lose them. What is the best way to
proceed?

simply run setup, it will take care of it.
