Office XP on Win98 SE

I've been complaining about the old versions of Microsoft
Office products on my computer, so a friend bought me a
copy of Microsoft Office XP Professional, thinking I had
XP on my machine. I don't.

Can you install Microsoft Office XP Professional using the
Windows 98 Second Edition OS?

Have you actually *TRIED*? Nothing is going to happen if you try....

Look at it this way - did Office 95 require Windows 95? Did Office 97
require Windows 98? Did Office 2000 require Windows 2000? The only exception
is 2003 which requires 2000 SP3 or later.
