Hello All,
End of last year I had some other problem with the clip organiser. Common
error found in the kb.
Now with another PC another problem. Nothing found in the kb.
The PC had Office2000 pro installed. When starting setup for Office XP Pro I
was asked wether to delete the old version or to keep it. I selected delete.
After installation completed I stated some rests of the odld installation I
think it was publisher, which is not part of the new installation. So I
uninstalled both versions completely via software applet. The I started the
new setup of Office XP Pro.
After finishing I tested the Clip organiser and I had following error
Windows opened, left part normal, right part blank. After some time an error
windows opened with following error message (may differ from what is
displayed in english, I translate the message from german):
Clip oraganiser could not complete this action
Unkonwn error 0x80004005
In the kb I fond some entries with this errorcode, but not related to Office
or Clip organiser.
I would be very pleased if you have a good hint to solve that.
(THe old problem could not be solved with the solution from the kb, I had to
reinstall the complete machine). Would not like to reinstall this PC like I
had to with that other problem.
