I have microsoft office XP professional. I had it installed on my laptop,
which is now completely useless. I just purchased a new desktop and when
trying to load my office suite, I noticed that i have what appears to be a
"bubble" type of dammage to the cd-rom. How can I use my current licence to
install the programs on my new computer w/out having to go out and buy the
whole suite again????

PLEASE HELP!

No, it won't. I had deleted the earlier threads so all I saw was that he
needed a disk for Office. Thanks, GnO.

The phone number provided (1 800 360-7561) is a joke. you just get shuffled
around in computer operator hell, only to be disconnected by it after it
states that the conversation may be recorded.

So frustrated right now.

Find a friend or colleague who has the same version and make a copy of their
disk. It's not the disk you pay for, it's the license.
