Office XP Professional 2003---Fonts

I have just notices that I have fewer fonts with Office XP
Professional 2003 than I do with a much older version of
Office. For example, I don't have the font Kristen or
Jokerman. How can I load the missing fonts onto the
computer with Office XP from my older computer???

Neither of the fonts you name come "standard" with Windows or Office. They must have been added by another application or downloaded off the internet. Font files are stored in C:\Windows\Fonts. In your old computer, you'll probably find files named something like kristen.ttf and jokeman.ttf. Copy these to a floppy and install them in the new computer via Start | Control Panel | Fonts | File | Add Font.

I have those fonts after installing 2003. Check in your C:\Windows\Fonts
folder to see if they are installed. You could copy and paste the fonts
from your other computer into the Fonts folder.

I stand corrected... these two fonts do come with Office 2003, but not with Office XP or earlier versions. Which is strange because you say that you have these fonts in your older computer. Anyway, the solution I suggested still applies.

Just like to point out that there is no such thing as 'Office XP Pro 2003'.
There's 'Office XP Professional' and 'Office 2003 Professional', but no
'Office XP Professional 2003'.

For your information, there are 376 fonts included with 2003 compared to 359
in Office XP. This is, of course, based on a full installation.
