When I click on a link embedded in an email, nothing happens. It should
connect me to a website and doesn't. What is the problem and how to I fix
it? Thx!

Outlook Express is not part of Office. Outlook is part of office. If you
are having problems with Outlook Express, you should ask the experts in the
OE newsgroups.

-------------------------------snip------------------
I have no doubt part of the confusion lies in that Outlook invokes OE for
newsgroup reading.

I just found a very active newgroup on version6 of OE. They should try
searching for "ie6_outlookexpress" in the newsgroup search box of their
newsgroup reader.

I had problems with mails, but in google to my mind I found the good
tool-'outlook express 6 errors'
is free as how as I remember,it helped me and my friends too not
once, also software can resolve data corruption issues for Outlook
Express email client, works with one of the most vulnerable elements of
information systems, helps and it does not matter, what happened with
your mailbox, works with Outlook Express versions 5, 5.5, 6 and all
currently supported versions of Microsoft Windows operating
system, preview all messages, that can be successfully retrieved from
corrupted files with dbx extension, recovery of all emails from your
mailbox in dbx format, if these dbx files are seriously corrupted and
Outlook Express there was an error opening this message, will save
separate files of eml format, that can be accessed by any email program.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it bizarre that we buy a supposedly
functioning piece of software, and the manufacturer won't respond to support
request emails, and users have to use forums or third party software to
resolve difficulties?

First this isn't an Office issue, and second, what manufacturer and what
e-mails are you refering to. It seems you are not aware that this is a
user to user public newsgroup, hosted on a Microsoft news server that
you are posting to from a 3 party leech site.

Did you find a way to overcome this problem Spartica? I would be very
interested to know as I now have the very same problem.
