Office XP Professional vs Office Professional Edition 2003

I am seriously considering getting Frontpage for future use and need time to
learn it. In researching, I read on the Microsoft web site that to get the
Frontpage update (as opposed to the full version--trying to be frugal) I
would need some previous software. One of them was Office XP Professional.
What is Office XP Professional vs Office Professional Edition 2003 (which I
have)? Using WINXP MCE.

You will need a previous version of FrontPage which doesn't come with either
Office version you mentioned.

You would need to have a copy of "Office XP Professional with FrontPage" to
qualify as an upgrade. Note that some versions of Office XP did not come
with FrontPage.

Otherwise, you would need a copy of a previous stand alone full version of
FrontPage to qualify for the upgrade.
