This is running on Windows XP Home Edition and when I open New Document
under Word I do not get "task panes" showing on the right hand side of the
screen, such Headings as "New document", "Open a Document", "New from
Existing Document" etc.
How do I enable this?

Thanks for your help Milly, I can now get it it open but I was hoping for it
to open automatically.
