Office XP Professional

I am buying an HP Media Center PC with Windows XP Media Center 2005. What do
I need to do/buy to install Office XP Professional 2003. Which edition of
Professional do I need to buy and do I need to buy and or install anything
else before I install Office XP Professional?

You have several errors in your post.

You either want Office Professional XP or you want Office Professional 2003.
Office Professional *is* an edition.

Now, beside those corrections, the XP version is no longer sold. At least
not brand new at your local software store. Office 2003 is the current
version. And you have to buy Office Pro before you can install it. Figure it
will cost you about US $500.

Purchase Microsoft Office 2003. Once you purchase Office,
simply insert the Office CD in the drive and install it....simple!
