Office XP Read Only

Using Excel (Office XP) the keyboard is disabled , and most right clik menus also. It seems the document has become read_only. No new document may
be created. Same thing with Word XP.

Wordpad runs OK...

Has anyone got an idea??

The only time this (usually) occurs is if you have failed to activate the
suite within the allotted 50 uses. Have you done so?
