Office XP Service Pack 3 update fails

Hello,

I installed Office XP Service Pack 3 successfully on March 27, 2005, but
every time I check for Office updates, the Office XP Service Pack 3 update
always lists, along with other security updates that can only be installed
after SP3 is installed. When I attempt to install SP3 again, it fails.

I located the following file from Microsoft:
OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-fullfile-enu.exe, and attempted to install SP3 manually.
The install fails giving the following error message: "The expected version
of the product was not found on your system". I checked the Office version on
my system and it is SP3.

So, I'm at a loss. I would like to install the other security updates, but I
can't until the Office Update recognizes that I have SP3.

I thought that I might also mention that the version I'm trying to update is
Office XP Pro 2002. I don't know if it will help, but there it is.
